FEES AND ALLOWANCE FOR CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS OF
THE BOARD
4. Travelling and Daily Allowance.– (1) The Chairman
and the members of the Board shall be entitled for
traveling and daily allowances out of the Board’s
own fund at the following rates, namely :-
1) The Chairman and the members shall be entitled
for Travelling allowances as applicable to Grade -1
officers of the State Government fixed by the State
Government from time to time.
2) The Chairman and the members shall be entitled
for daily allowances as applicable to Grade -1
officers of the State Government for the meeting
convened to discuss the administrative matter of the
Board.
3) The Chairman and the members shall be entitled
for a sitting fee at the rate of rupees five hundred
for the full Board sitting and the Judicial
committee sitting fee at the rate of rupees five
hundred for the full Board sitting and the Judicial
committee sittings and no additional daily allowance
will be given for the administrative matters in case
of combined meeting:
“ Provided that the Officers of the State Government
nominated to the Board shall not be of the State
Government nominated to the Board shall not be
eligible for any sitting fee”.
5. Denial of Travelling Allowance . – The Chairman
or a member whose usual place of
residence is within a radius of 8 k.m . from the
office of the board or any other place
of meeting , shall not draw T.A. for attending that
meeting.
